Trump wants to name Anthony Scaramucci communications chief

Meant with no "ethnic" offense to the new WH Communications Director -- and I'm sure he'd enjoy a little bit of well-meant humor in these hard times -- John Brown, yes, it's my real name :), and, btw, I spent my formative years in Italy (58-62) as a Foreign Service brat in Rome, in an apartment living with my dear USA diplomat parents overlooking the Roman Forum ... I can still swear in Italian ...  And one of my favorite songs still is, "Lasciatemi cantare, sono L'italiano."

A comment on the article, "Trump wants Scaramucci to be White House communications chief, but top staff pushes back," NBC:

JB note: Perhaps the author of "The Prince" (who as you know penned the famous words, "it is far safer to be feared than loved") would have approved of the President's reported choice -- as the WH "communications chief" -- of a person with the name (pardon my poor Italian/Spanglish) of Scare-em-mucho ...

"Scaramouche," wikipedia.org (via PF on Facebook)

"Scaramuccia (literally 'little skirmisher'), also known as Scaramouche or Scaramouch, is a stock clown character of the Italian commedia dell'arte. The role combined characteristics of the zanni (servant) and the Capitano (masked henchman). Usually attired in black Spanish dress and burlesquing a don, he was often beaten by Harlequin for his boasting and cowardice."

One extremely successful American businessman, who lived in Mexico for many years (and greatly admired its people & culture) told me that the WH communications chief's name reminded him of a Mexican song, La Cucaracha (The Mexican Cockroach Song.)
